Painted Flower Pots

 I saw a DIY a while back about sprucing up flower pots and
I had an old one from long ago that my hoarder self held onto... :)

I decided to do something a bit lighter, so I started with a cream base on the bottom...

... and I spiced it up a bit with a gold rim!
Next planter I'll be doing with a gold rim and a chalkboard painted base.

Style Diary [white, studded dress]

New white chiffon studded dress. 

Despite my dislike for pre-sewn elastic waists
I decided to get this dress because of the very cute stud detailing.
Next time,  I think I'll skip the belt.

Unfamiliar Vases

I found this water pitcher at Target about a month ago and immediately fell in love.
I'm a bit of an impulse buyer, I'll admit, but on rare occasion when I
find something that makes my heart leap - I just have to have it.
Yesterday, I picked up a decaying batch of sunflowers that were on sale for $2
and knew they would go so well with my newly beloved water pitcher.
Alas, a great fit. :)

Getting back into the groove

Today, I just had to take pictures...
even if they were of myself.

I have several new craft projects on my 'to-do' list...
and I am going to try my best to be consistent on here. So please bare with me. :)
